50 Reasons to Date (or not) a Graphic Designer

Howdy guys. Recently my boyfriend gave me a link about 50 reasons not to date a graphic designer to me to "insult" and made me laugh. Then, I search over webs until six pages in google, but did not find a single link about 50 reasons to date a graphic designer. So, I made my own defend by commenting 50 points from the first article to prove that dating a graphic designer is FUN! Here you go.

1. They are very weird people. "We are one in the million."
2. There are billions of them in the world, like colors on the screen of your computer. "We are colorfull and alive."
3. They will analyse conversations in layers. "Because we have a natural ability of deduction."
4. You will spend the day assembling furniture from IKEA. "We will never wasting time for unnecessary work."
5. They drink and eat all kinds of weird shit just because they like the packaging. "It's true, but see the possitive side; We can eat all kind of food (Isn't good enough for saving your time to buy us a specific food)."
6. They hate each other. "We just like to competize."
7. You’ll come out the last out of the movies because you have to see the full list of credits. "We appreciate all of the movie crew"
8. They cant change a light bulb or without making a sketch. "Hah! WRONG!"
9. They fuck up all the tables with their cutters. "Easy...I will clean it up next Sunday."
10. They rather study the paisley pattern on your outfit than listen to what you have to say. "Because I love textile patterns than you"
11. They will fill your house with magazines and whatever is out there that has drawings. "What's wrong? Aren't they beautiful?"
12. You never know if it is really an original or a copy. "Hahah! Blame the scanner and the Photoshop!"
13. They make collages with your photos. "With my photos too (a lot than yours heheheh...)"
14. They do not know how to add and subtract, they just understand letters. "Hey..What is the use of a calculator then, eh?"
15. They idolize people who nobody knows and speak of them as if they were his colleagues. "Ah..It's true, we know a lot idols than others."
16. They take pictures almost daily and all are cut in weird shapes. "Not everyday and not every picture. Simple is Superb!"
17. They ask your opinion about everything but they do whatever they want. "Because...because...hmmmm..."
18. Everything is left justified, right or center unless they arrive late. "Better than leave it blank."
19. They hate Comic Sans with the same passion they love Helvetica. "Agreed! No offence."
20. They use iPhone for everything, because everyone has one. "I use Blackberry."
21. You can not decorate the house without consulting them. "True...true..true..."
22. They steal street signs. "Ah...you just jealous because you don't have an unique decoration like my XL neon-box."
23. Always carry their hands painted with something. "Not always. We are in digital paint era now."
24. They buy dolls unfinished for them to paint. "Yeah, if only I have one. Those are expensive."
25. Everything becomes something other than what it really is: cards as tickets, cards as … "Not just cards."
26. When arguing, you will be nicknamed like the OSX spinning wheel (not affectionately) "I rather to prefer a romantic nickname for anything, like 'darling', 'love', and 'honey'."
27. Do not know how to dress without consulting the Pantone book. "Never bothered by dressing stuff, unless for a date and special events."
28. They hate Excel. "So So."
29. They read comics. "Also graphic novels and children books."
30. They want to save the world only with a poster."Add interactive multimedia and new media too."
31. You will spend the day brainstorming. "...in a neat and cozy cafe."
32. On vacation they will take you to countries that you do not know exist and have no beach. "We love exotic island surrounding by blue clear water."
33. Museums are their second home. "Exactly."
34. They know more positions than the Kamasutra. "And why it can be a reason not to date with us?"
35. They can’t go to a restaurant without secretly critiquing the menu design. "As long as the foods great it's not a big deal."
36. They listen to music you have never heard of. "Yes. And after a month of our viral marketing, you will hear it anywhere."
37. They can´t cook a normal dish, they always have to experiment with new ingredients. "Because we are too creative for following the default recipes."
38. They read rare books: stories of children, Semiotics … "Yes, as a suplemen."
39. When you are going to tell you something, everyone has read it in their facebook and twitter. "Not for an introvert one."
40. They have own iPods before you knew they existed. "If only I had one."
41. The orgasm they remember is when they heard that Adobe was acquiring Macromedia. "We are not over-reacted like that."
42. They have their own shops just for them and there are the most expensive in the city. "That is one of my dream ever!"
43. They want to spend all the money in the Apple Store. "Hahahah, If I don't have financial reminder as my partner I will do it."
44. You will never understand their gifts. "Yeah..they just don't realize that there is a meaning on my last gift."
45. They see ordinary objects and laugh. "...then put something on top of it to make it weird."
46. You wake up in the middle of the night hearim them screaming “When is the deadline?” "Because I work even on my dreams."
47. They see CMYK and RGB like Neo sees the Matrix. "CMYK and RGB are part of our life."
48. They dream of the day nobody will make a single change to their designs. "Yeahhh...who don't?"
49. They rather pay for a font than for a special birthday gift. "There are a lot of great free fonts out there. Why we need to pay?"
50. They are always sleepy because they work 24/7. "If only one day is 30 hours and a week have 10 days."
